Gene Simmons isn't known for his acting. But after Friday you will continue to not know him for his acting.
I know what you're worried about. Is this the bullshit European version of KISS Meets the Phantom of the Park where they cut out all of Ace Frehley's terribly-delivered lines? That's the only version that's been released on DVD but, no, I have the original. Keep an eye on Frehley, apparently he didn't show up half the time so his black stunt double plays his part. Peter Criss didn't do ADR so he's dubbed by someone else. I don't think the guy's hearts were in this. You should brush up on who's who in the movie:
Gene Simmons as The Demon, Ace Frehley as The Spaceman, Paul Stanley as The Starchild and Peter Criss as The Catman.
KISSMTPOTP is probably the only chance to see a movie at BMN that takes place at an amusement park since Rollercoaster, Funhouse and Ghoulies 2 aren't very good.
Runaway is based on the Del Shannon song and has killer robot spiders.
