I don't know why serum is the preferred vehicle for drugs by mad scientists. I guess it's the needle part. A scene of a guy swallowing a pill or applying a patch isn't scary enough. Not until they invent the suppository gun.
You remember Wildman Steve who played Steve in Petey Wheatstaw. In Super Soul Brother he plays Steve. He's like Joey Lawerence that way. The guy who directed Super Soul Brother, Rene Martinez Jr., debuted with Road of Death:
...starring Thora Birch's porn star parents. I keep meaning to buy that. What am I doing? We could have had Rene Martinez Jr. Night. Dumb.
Just so you get the chronology, Evil Spawn appeared two years after Richard Harrison was in Ninja Terminator and one year before Scorpion Thunderbolt.
Evil Spawn also has people from Samurai Cop, Jack-O, Hard Rock Zombies, White Fire, Mausoleum, Repo Man, Demonwarp and Dead Alive. I could probably do this with most movies now that we've watched over 250. I wonder what will be the better movie, The Deadly Spawn or Evil Spawn.
What am I saying The Deadly Spawn is incredible!
