When I worked at IBM, my mentor would take her vacation days to avoid going to department meetings. She still worked those days. When our manager would call her up to remind her of the meeting she would say with a high voice and Indian accent, "Oh no... I'm on vacation". I think it was more like "waycation" when she said it as she often said "wapors" and "yer goin' to have fun I know it". Poor Krishna; she did a couple years ago due to complications with her kidneys.
